What Customers Need To Know
Best Time To Book
Schedule 2 to 3 weeks before your preferred closing date in fall.
Estimate Starts With Size
Your online estimate starts with the selected size band, then adjusts for spa, extension, equipment, add-ons, and any credits selected.
Water Level Matters
Correct water level before arrival prevents delays and unnecessary extra charges.
Included
What Is Included In A Standard Closing
The closing process is easier to understand when it is grouped by what is being protected.
Cover And Deck Setup
Install and secure the pool cover, water tubes, or above-ground winch system.
Remove ladders, handrails, and seasonal accessories for storage.
Adjust water level for the pool and cover type when already prepared.
Plumbing And Equipment Winterization
Blow out and seal plumbing lines, add antifreeze where needed, and plug returns.
Remove drain plugs from equipment and protect the skimmer.
Shut off gas and electrical supply to the heater or heat pump as needed.
Seasonal Protection
Apply winterizing chemicals to support a cleaner spring opening.
Clean the filter as part of the closing workflow when included or selected.
Review any concerns so you know if extra protection or follow-up is recommended.
Before We Arrive
These prep items prevent delays and extra charges.
For tarp covers: water level should be about 1 inch below the skimmer.
For winter covers: water level should be about 12 inches below the skimmer.
Power should be available at the equipment pad.
A working, accessible hose should be nearby.
Backyard, pool, and storage access should be clear.
If the pool is not ready
If we cannot perform the closing, we may need to reschedule and keep the $100 deposit as a travel fee.
If extra time is needed to lower water or perform additional prep, that work is billed at $50 per 30 minutes.
Water Level Options
You do not have to guess. Here are the three normal paths.
Lower the water yourself
This is the lowest-cost option and keeps the appointment moving fastest.
Ask us to lower it
We can often do this during service or arrive 24 to 48 hours before for a small fee.
Pair it with another service
If you also want a vacuum or related service, tell us in advance so scheduling is accurate.
