What Is Included In A Standard Opening

The service is easier to understand when it is grouped by outcome instead of one long checklist.

Cover, Deck, And Accessories
Inspect the pool cover for damage and point out repair options if needed.
Remove, fold, and store the cover.
Screw down anchors, fold water tubes, and reinstall ladders or handrails.
Equipment Startup
Reconnect and check the filtration system for leaks or setup issues.
Start pumps and test-fire the heater when appropriate.
Reinstall the salt cell and power up the salt system if temperature allows.
Water And Final Checks
Remove winter plugs and reinstall return fittings and skimmer baskets.
Add an initial chlorine shock treatment.
Test water chemistry and explain what still needs to be corrected.
Before We Arrive
This is the fastest way to avoid reschedules and extra charges.
Water level should be above the skimmer.
No heavy debris or standing water should remain on the cover.
Power should be available at the equipment pad.
A working, accessible hose should be nearby.
Pool equipment and backyard access should be clear.
Storage areas for cover and accessories should be accessible.
If the pool is not ready

If we cannot perform the opening because access or prep requirements were not met, we may need to reschedule and keep the $75 deposit as a travel fee.

If we can continue, water and debris removal from the cover is billed at $50 per 30 minutes.

Important Notes
The online estimate starts with your selected size band.
An attached spa adds $40.
An additional $40 is added when the selected pool is X-Large, or when a Medium, Large, or X-Large pool also has an extension.
Equipment also affects the estimate: multiple pumps add $25, a heater or heat pump adds $25, and a salt generator or chlorinator adds $15.
Rodent wrap, pressure wash / blowdry cover service, and filter deep cleaning are optional opening add-ons selected during booking.
Credits can reduce the estimate when you bring equipment near the pad or allow a lawn sign.
After Opening

What May Still Be Needed After The Opening

The opening gets the pool uncovered, reassembled, and started correctly, but some pools still need follow-up service depending on their water condition and system setup.

Possible Green Algae Removal
If the pool opens green or has active algae growth, green-to-clear treatment may still be needed after the opening visit.
Salt Start
If you want us to add the correct amount of salt and bring the system up to target salinity, salt start can be scheduled as a follow-up.
Power Vacuuming
Pools with heavy debris, dead algae, or a lot of material on the floor may need power vacuuming after opening.
Balancing Water Chemistry
If startup shock is not enough, chemistry balancing can be added after the opening. Customers enrolling in regular maintenance can have that handled as part of the plan.
Take Care Of Everything Follow-Up
Customers planning to enroll in regular maintenance can choose the follow-up option that has us handle the post-opening cleanup and chemistry work for them.
